Do the tiles meet the requirements for 4 inch house numbers? Yes. The actual numbers on the house number tiles are four inches in height. The Craftsman, Cattail, Victorian and Accent Set tiles all meet the requirements for 4 inch house numbers. The height of the numbers on the custom house signs vary according to the sign but are at least 3 inches in height.
  2. Will the house number tiles last in the various weather? Yes, according to the engineering firm results where samples of the house numbers were subjected to 50 cycles of freezing and thawing. They passed the ASTM:67 Freeze-Thaw standards for brick and structural clay "with flying colors".
  3. Will you have other house number designs available? Yes. We have focused our tile-making production on architecturally influenced house number designs. Images from nature will have a continuing influence on our upcoming designs as well. Look for our next designsfor house numbers on this Web site soon.
  4. Will each house number look the same? Slight variations in color and size distinguish our handmade tiles from those that are mass produced. You can expect beauty, authenticity and artistry in every tile you order.
  5. What about Installation (horizontal or vertical)?
  • If ordered with mounting holes, each house number or letter tile has a mounting hole at the top and at bottom of the tile. Brass screws are included with your purchase. Tiles are easy to install.
  • The house numbers, letters and signs may also be ordered without mounting holes for installation with adhesive or mortar. Consult your local hardware store or local contractor for recommendations of an adhesive appropriate to your climate and type of surface.
  • Tiles with mounting holes can be displayed on our Lawn Stakes or Wooden Frames.
  6. Do you ship internationally? Yes, we ship internationally by international air mail post. There is an additional cost for international shipping. Send us an email with what you would like to order and your city and country and we can give you the shipping cost before you place your order.
  7. Do you have a printed catalog? No, we do not have a printed catalog. We use this website for house numbers to show all our styles and color options. We always keep this website for house numbers and custom signs up to date.
  8. What about refunds, ordering security and other ordering concerns? Please read our page “About Ordering Your Tiles” for all the details on ordering.
